Blended Citizens Project
Helping families raise kind, capable kids in a digitally blended world.
Screens, social media, AI, gaming, group chats and online harm have changed childhood. Most of us were never taught how to guide our kids through this world, yet families are expected to manage it every day.
The Blended Citizens Project helps parents and carers move beyond fear, guilt and endless rules with research-backed resources, courses and stories for real family life.

What is The Blended Citizens Project?
The Blended Citizens Project is a digital parenting and digital citizenship education space created by Dr Cat Horvat, a mum, educator and researcher.
It was created for parents and carers who are trying hard to raise kind, capable young people in a world that now includes screens, social media, AI, gaming, group chats and online harm.
BCP isn't about controlling every click or frightening families into stricter rules. It helps parents and carers understand what is happening, talk about it with their children and build the values, judgment and practical skills young people need across "online" and "offline" life.
Through courses, family resources, stories and workshops, BCP turns research into guidance that feels useful, human and possible in real family life.
