Refunds, Returns & Consumer Rights

Overview

Our Refunds, Returns & Consumer Rights Policy outlines how refunds and exchanges are handled and what customers are entitled to under Australian law. It exists to ensure transparency, fairness, and compliance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

This policy forms part of the terms and conditions between you (the customer) and The Blended Citizens Project. By purchasing from us, you agree to these terms.

Physical Products

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or not as described, please contact us within 14 days of delivery. We will offer a replacement, repair, or refund in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

To request a return, please email blendedcitizensproject@gmail.com with your order number, a brief description of the issue, and clear photos of the item.

Please note:

  • Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

  • Products that have been opened, written in, or handled in a way that changes their condition (for example, writing in journals or opening sealed cards) cannot be returned or refunded unless faulty before use.

  • We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect choice, or general wear and tear.

Digital Products and Courses

Under the Australian Consumer Law, digital products and online courses come with the same consumer guarantees as physical goods. This means you are entitled to a remedy if the product is faulty, not as described, or fails to function as expected.

Due to the nature of digital content, refunds are not available once materials have been accessed or downloaded, unless the content is faulty, misrepresented, or otherwise fails to meet consumer guarantees.

If you experience technical issues accessing your course or digital product, please contact us promptly at blendedcitizensproject@gmail.com. We will work with you to resolve the issue and ensure you can access what you’ve purchased.

Refund Timeframes

Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 7–10 business days once the returned item is received and inspected. You will receive a confirmation email when your refund has been approved and processed.

Partial Refunds or Adjustments

In certain cases, we may offer partial refunds where only part of an order is affected, or where minor issues can be resolved without a full return. These decisions are made in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law and at the discretion of The Blended Citizens Project.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the issue does not amount to a major failure.
